What are you checking?

Keep names and sensitive details out.

01 · Information

Can the work be trusted?

1The source information was appropriate to use.

No private, regulated, confidential or identifying information was entered without permission and an approved environment.

2Important factual claims were verified.

Names, dates, numbers, quotations, citations, policies and technical claims were checked against reliable sources.

3The result does not invent evidence.

Examples, desired outcomes and plausible details are not presented as completed work, measured results or verified sources.

4Uncertainty and limitations remain visible.

An inference, incomplete answer or recommendation is not presented as settled fact.

02 · People

Will people be treated fairly?

5The people represented retain dignity and agency.

The work does not exploit fear, pain, vulnerability, identity or personal stories to create attention or pressure.

6Different people and outcomes were considered.

The result was checked for assumptions, exclusions, stereotypes, accessibility barriers and unequal consequences.

7The voice is accurate to the person or organization.

Generic confidence, inflated promises, unfamiliar jargon and language the organization would not defend were removed.

03 · Accountability

Can someone stand behind the result?

8A capable person owns the final result.

The approver has enough context, authority and subject knowledge to recognize a plausible but wrong result.

9Disclosure and consent expectations were checked.

The use fits organizational policy, contractual commitments and the reasonable expectations of the people affected.

10The result can be corrected, withdrawn or stopped.

There is a practical response if the output proves wrong, harmful or inconsistent with its intended responsibility.
